Pack sustainably

Innopack, a new marketplace for sustainable packaging solutions, is looking for a new intern in its Copenhagen office

We are looking for a top-performing, innovative and committed intern to contribute to our work on developing a marketplace for sustainable packaging solutions, helping to reduce the global plastic waste challenge.

As Intern for Innopack, you have the opportunity to work with leading global development entrepreneurs on kickstarting a new solution to address one of the world’s most pressing challenges. We will help you improve your professional and entrepreneurial skills, and will introduce you to a wide range of tools to develop and execute a new sustainable development organization.

Innopack is a new initiative with the goal of bridging a key gap in the global development marketplace for sustainable packaging. Our mission is to connect the developers of innovative, sustainable packaging solutions with leading worldwide organizations who can lead the global movement of reducing plastic waste in packaging.

About you
You are a top-performing, innovative, and driven individual, who is passionate about reducing plastic in packaging and the estimated 12 billion tons of plastic waste that will end up in landfills and the environment by 2050. You have a strong entrepreneurial spirit and an entrepreneurial track record, along with a passion for social change. We expect you to have strong problem solving and critical thinking skills. We also expect that you are self-motivated and able to work independently to develop and execute new concepts and processes.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • MSc. student in Business, Economics, Development, International Relations, Environmental Engineering or related engineering fields, or a related field with an excellent academic record
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with experience starting or leading organizations
  • Systems-level approach to creative problem solving
  • Ability to clearly articulate, present, and execute processes
  • Demonstrated fluency in written and oral English
  • A passion for sustainable development and specifically for reducing the world’s plastic waste problem, typically evidenced by a strong interest and/or prior exposure

How you will grow
As Innopack is a new initiative, you will play a crucial role in Innopack’s entrepreneurial journey, and you will have the opportunity to develop and shape our impact in the sustainable development ecosystem in conjunction with the company’s founders. You will be a part of identifying key market gaps, building our value proposition, and developing and executing our first projects. You will be a critical member of our small team and will be delegated a large responsibility. You will work directly with the company’s founders to learn about how to start a new sustainable development organization, and you should therefore be ready to take on a variety of roles and work  independently. As part of you work, you will have the opportunity to connect with both up-and-coming innovators and established global leaders to shape Innopack’s impact in the sustainable development ecosystem.
