THE CONTROL SPECIALIST IN THE SUPPORT TEAM UNDER GLOBAL MOULD ENGINEERING IN INDUSTRIALIZATION WILL COVER ALL ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION ON A BLADE MOULD (HINGES, CLAMPS, JACKS, TONGS, ARCH DETECTOR, VACUUM TCR, VACUUM BSLD AS WELL AS FUTURE DEVELOPMENTS). THE CONTROL SPECIALIST WILL BE DEDICATED TO PERFORMING SUPPORT TOWARDS LM PLANTS. THE GOAL IS TO SUPPORT PLANTS ON MOULD RELATED ISSUES THAT CAUSE PRODUCTION LOSS OR DIRECT DOWNTIME DUE TO ISSUES WITH CONTROL SYSTEMS.

Essential Responsibilities:

The control specialist will be close to the ongoing development projects in Industrialization and mould manufacturing and contribute with knowledge and insights from the close contact with Plants and maintenance departments in Plants.

The overall tasks will be:

– Support Plants on mould related issue (on-line and on-site support)
– Spot issues that could have been prevented in design, manufacturing or by maintenance
– Support GME, MP, CAPEX sourcing and Mould Transfer with knowledge

Key responsibilities will include:

– Perform on-line support to Plants on mould related issues within electrical/control
– Perform on-site support to Plants on mould related issues (incl. burning platforms)
– Bring knowledge to the Plants, but also bring learnings back to Industrialization
– Participate in prioritization of the incoming task
– Communication to Plants. Keep Plant updated on support they have requested
– Ensure updating of specifications when needed
– Feedback to Project Managers and Engineers if mould design needs be adjusted/updated
– Feedback to Mould Production if manufacturing methods courses issue in production or maintenance
– Be in close contact with the Maintenance Department in the Plants and in the Global function
– Build up and/or maintain high level of knowledge on mould design and function
– Support development projects with knowledge

Qualifications/Requirements:

– Educational background: Marine engineer (Maskinmester), Automation engineer/Technician or equivalent knowledge or experience
– Experience from industrial automation, PLC, HMI, SCADA
– Experience in trouble shooting on moulds (on-site) Electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
– Good communication skills both verbally and in writing
– Willingness/skills to transfer knowledge to people of different skills levels
– Experience with MS-office and Team Center
– Extensive experience within mould design, manufacturing and/or mould setup
– Experience in Functional Safety – Machine Safety and Machine Directive We expect that you are familiar with: PLC – Programmable Logic Controller HMI – Human Machine – Interface or MMI – Man Machine Interface SCADA – Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition
