ROCKWOOL products save energy and water and reduce CO2 emissions, protect buildings from the spread of fire; reduce waste; improve acoustic comfort, building performance and aesthetics; and enhance Precision Growing, thereby improving the efficiency of fresh food production.

While the stone we use may be millions of years old, what we do with it is cutting-edge. Every day, ROCKWOOL colleagues are developing and applying new technologies to release yet more potential of stone wool to enrich modern life.

Would you also be proud to enrich society like we do? Apply now to join us as we improve modern living conditions for millions of people worldwide.

Do you enjoy working in the cross field of Operations and IT – do you like to pave new roads while reaching project goals? And would you like to leave your mark on production technologies that could potentially revolutionise the way we produce stone wool products?

This is who we are
You will join our “Factory of the Future” team of Project Managers and Specialists within Group R&D. We are a team of passionate, skilled and knowledgeable colleagues who develop & implement the newest technologies for stone wool production. This is the role
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager with a strong OT & IT background and experience from numerous successful OT & IT project implementations.

Your role is to manage programmes within the “Factory of the Future” portfolio aiming at having a global Enterprise Architecture as well as the right applications fitting to the ROCKWOOL Group needs. We work in projects and base our solutions on a deep understanding of our production processes – and if standard components are not available, we develop our own.

Doing so, you will collaborate closely with a broad range of colleagues – from digital, engineering  to production sites across the Globe. Therefore, you can expect to travel approx. 60 days a year, e.g. when visiting other offices or factories to secure management engagement at the factories.

This is what you offer

  • 5+ years’ experience as an Automation Engineer
  • 10+ years’ experience with project & programme management
  • Proven track record of well-run projects & programmes in a Global organisation

As a person you:

•    Have proven leadership and management skills
•    Have intercultural experience and are strong in both written and spoken English
•    Communication in a clear and direct manner
•    Use your skills and drive to reach results

This is what we offer
A challenging job in a very professional and ambitious company with high-quality, innovative products. In Group R&D we often work in cross-functional and international teams.
